We are looking for a Senior OutSystems Certified Engineer with strong software engineering experience and a solid .NET/C# background to design, develop, integrate, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using the OutSystems platform.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on expertise in OutSystems development and architecture with strong knowledge of .NET, C#, APIs, databases, and modern software engineering practices. The role requires the ability to work independently on complex technical solutions, contribute to architecture decisions, troubleshoot challenging issues, and provide technical guidance to other developers.

The position will be responsible for delivering scalable, secure, high-performance applications while ensuring adherence to development standards, architecture principles, and SDLC best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using OutSystems.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Take ownership of the complete development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Design application architecture, modular structures, reusable components, and integration patterns in OutSystems.
• Develop and maintain integrations with external and enterprise systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Leverage strong .NET/C# experience to understand, integrate with, troubleshoot, and extend existing backend services and enterprise applications.
• Develop and consume APIs, web services, and other backend integrations using OutSystems and .NET technologies.
• Work with relational databases, particularly SQL Server, including data modeling, complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical, performance, and production issues.
• Apply OutSystems architecture and development best practices to minimize technical debt and ensure application scalability.
• Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards and architectural guidelines.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA Engineers, Project Managers, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in technical discussions, solution design, estimation, and implementation planning.
• Support CI/CD, release management, and deployment activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, coding standards, and technical practices.
• Stay current with new OutSystems capabilities, .NET technologies, architecture patterns, and software engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in enterprise application development.
• 3+ years of hands-on OutSystems development experience.
• Valid OutSystems certification, preferably OutSystems Professional Developer or Expert Developer certification.
• Strong hands-on experience with OutSystems Service Studio and application development.
• Strong understanding of OutSystems architecture, modularization, reusable components, and application lifecycle management.
• Strong professional experience with C# and .NET / .NET Core.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, design patterns, APIs, and software engineering principles.
• Strong experience with SQL Server and relational database concepts.
• Hands-on experience developing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.
• Strong understanding of JSON, XML, authentication, and API integration patterns.
• Experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with application performance optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with Git and/or other source-control systems.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical deliverables.

• OutSystems Expert Developer / Tech Lead certification.
• Experience with OutSystems Architecture and Architecture Dashboard.
• Experience with OutSystems Lifetime and deployment management.
• Experience with Integration Studio and custom integrations.
• Experience with OutSystems Mobile and/or Reactive Web applications.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with microservices and enterprise integration architectures.
• Experience with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or similar platforms.
• Experience in technical leadership, mentoring, or leading development teams.
