We are seeking a Senior Palantir Foundry Developer (Lead) to join our team and support our client.

The ideal candidate is a senior Foundry practitioner and founding technical leader capable of standing up the practice's build capability, mentoring junior staff, and owning delivery on day one. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Washington, DC/Herndon, VA, requiring onsite work two to three days per week.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for Foundry application and ontology development across client engagements.
• Design and build complex ontology models, Actions, Functions, and Workshop applications from the ground up.
• Own solution architecture decisions in coordination with client stakeholders and Unissant leadership.
• Mentor and upskill junior developers as the practice scales.
• Serve as a primary technical point of contact in client meetings and proposal support activities.
• Establish reusable frameworks, templates, and best practices for the practice.

Work Experience And Job Skills

• Five (5) or more years of software or data engineering experience, including three (3) or more years of hands-on Palantir Foundry experience in a lead or senior capacity.
• Demonstrated experience owning Foundry solutions end-to-end, ideally in a federal or highly regulated environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and TypeScript.
• Experience translating ambiguous client requirements into scalable technical architecture.
• Prior experience supporting DHS, CBP, or other federal law enforcement/homeland security clients preferred.
• Experience standing up or scaling a Palantir practice within a consulting or systems integrator environment preferred.
• Familiarity with AIP preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree is required. Preferred field of study in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Operations Management, or related field of study.
• MBA/Master's Degree in a relevant field of study preferred.

Certificates, Licenses And Registrations

• Palantir Foundry Developer certification preferred.

Communication Skills

• Excellent verbal and written skills, ability to present proposals and performance data, comfortable interfacing all levels of organization.
• Ability to write clear and concise creative content in a highly confidential manner.

Clearance Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust clearance is required.

Travel

• Minimal travel may be required.

Environmental Requirements

• Mainly a routine office environment.
• May be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds
• Flexible in working extended hours
