About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner with a strong Australian financial planning background to support Australian financial advisers in preparing high-quality, compliant, and technically sound advice documents.

The ideal candidate has at least four years of senior-level paraplanning experience, advanced hands-on Xplan skills, and the ability to independently handle complex financial advice strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and finalize Statements of Advice (SOAs), Records of Advice (ROAs), and other financial planning documents.
• Develop and document advice strategies involving superannuation, SMSFs, investment portfolios, personal insurance, trusts, and company structures.
• Interpret adviser instructions and identify missing information, inconsistencies, and potential compliance concerns.
• Conduct technical research to support appropriate and compliant financial recommendations.
• Review financial information, client data, calculations, and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Maintain accurate client records and workflows in Xplan.
• Liaise with Australian financial advisers to clarify requirements and resolve technical issues.
• Manage assigned cases independently while meeting quality standards and turnaround times.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of senior-level paraplanning experience.
• Previous experience supporting Australian financial advisers or Australian financial planning firms is required.
• Advanced, hands-on experience using Xplan is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Australian financial planning processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience preparing SOAs, ROAs, and complex advice strategies.
• Familiarity with SMSFs, superannuation, investment portfolios, insurance, trusts, and company structures.
• Excellent written English, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
