Senior Payroll Processor

Dooley and Company, LLC is a full service accounting firm in Lexington, South Carolina that specializes in providing accounting services to small businesses and their owners.

**Overview:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and experience with payroll processes. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where accuracy and efficiency are paramount.

**Responsibilities:**

• Process payroll for client employees accurately and timely.

-Manage live payroll schedules for roughly 25 clients.

-Perform quarterly tax filings for roughly 40 accounts in addition to live payroll.

• Collect information from clients

-Calculate payroll taxes and ensure amounts are submitted to taxing authorities

-Process and file W2s and 1099s

-Process and filed quarterly payroll returns.

**Qualifications:**

• Proficiency in debits, credits, and double-entry bookkeeping

• Ability to analyze data and perform account reconciliations

• Experience with Quickbooks Payroll

• Understanding of financial concepts and general ledger reconciliation

• Previous experience as a payroll clerk or similar role
