Senior People Partner

Who you are

• Have strong People Partnering experience, ideally supporting GTM, Sales or Commercial teams
• Know US employment law well: FLSA, FMLA, Title VII, ADA, multi-state compliance, at-will
• Think like a product manager: you diagnose before you design, and you measure what you ship
• Are energised by ambiguity and building from scratch, not navigating existing bureaucracy
• Bring both the strategic thinking and the hands-on drive to see things through
• Are curious about AI and technology and actively look for ways to work smarter
• Experience in high-growth tech or legaltech; OTE and variable comp exposure; any UK employment law familiarity

What the job involves

• Orbital is building the AI technology powering the future of enterprise legal work. We're growing fast, and we need a Senior People Partner who wants to help us get this right from the ground up
• This isn't a maintain-the-machine role. You'll be the first People hire in the US, partnering with our GTM leadership while also owning the design and build of people solutions that actually scale. Strategy and execution. Influence and craft. Both, in the same role
• You'll sit across two layers of how our People function operates: Partner and Product
• As a Partner, you'll work closely with our go-to-market managers, coaching them through performance, team health, and people challenges, and building the kind of trusted relationships that give you real signal on what needs fixing
• As a Product builder, you'll take those insights and turn them into scalable solutions: frameworks, enablement tools, programs, and processes that don't just solve the immediate problem but grow with the business
• Your early focus will include manager capability, performance enablement, and building out the US-specific foundations of our People stack, including compliance, leave administration, and multi-state employment. But you'll help shape the roadmap, not just inherit one
