Salary: $190,000 to $240,000 + equity

Description

Our client is a well-funded Physical AI company in the Bay Area. They build the technology that lets robots see and understand the world around them.

The team is led by engineers who have shipped hardware and software at scale, and they are growing quickly after a recent funding round. They are hiring a Senior Perception Engineer to own a core part of their perception stack.

What you'd be doing

• Building the perception stack that lets a machine understand its surroundings
• Working across sensor fusion, SLAM, 3D vision, object detection, and tracking
• Taking models from research to reliable, real-time performance on hardware
• Working with camera, LiDAR, and radar data

What you'll bring

• 5+ years in perception or computer vision for robotics or autonomous systems
• Experience shipping perception software that runs on a real machine
• Strong C++ and Python
• Depth in at least one area: SLAM, sensor fusion, 3D reconstruction, or deep learning for vision
