What they need
Assume reasonable responsibilities in the absence of Pharmacy Manager
Participate in stock control and stock take
Facilitate the understanding of systems and policies to all pharmacy staff
Provide guidance and consultation regarding pharmaceutical care
Keep abreast of current trends and practices in pharmaceutical care
Submit annual required CPDs to SAPC
Register as a tutor for both interns and pharmacist's assistants with SAPC
Attend to emergency call-outs when required
Accurate and safe dispensing to both retail and hospital patients
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of all aspects related to GPP
Minimum of a B. Pharm Degree
Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role (Senior Pharmacist)
Excellent report writing skills
Excellent time management skills
A pleasant disposition and excellent interpersonal/communications skills are vital
Contribute actively to the multidisciplinary team
