Senior PHP Developer 10 Years

Viljetech is looking for an experienced Senior PHP Developer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in PHP application development, e-commerce platforms, API integrations, database optimization, and server-side performance tuning.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience with PHP, Zen Cart, Laravel, MySQL, Apache Solr, JavaScript, API integrations, payment gateways, Linux servers, and performance optimization.

The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing scalable web applications and integrations while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance robust PHP-based web applications.
• Work extensively with PHP, Zen Cart Framework, and Laravel.
• Develop and maintain MySQL databases, queries, stored procedures, and database optimizations.
• Implement and optimize Apache Solr for search functionality and search performance.
• Identify and resolve application performance bottlenecks.
• Implement caching, CDN, and performance optimization strategies.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party APIs.
• Handle payment gateway integrations and troubleshoot payment-related issues.
• Work on integrations with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / ERP systems.
• Develop responsive web interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and Bootstrap.
• Manage source code using Git and follow proper branching/version-control practices.
• Handle Linux servers, deployments, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Work with Apache/web server configurations and production deployments.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, QA, and business teams.
• Use Jira for task management, sprint planning, issue tracking, and project coordination.
• Support digital marketing integrations involving Google Tag Manager and Google Ads.
• Work with Klaviyo and Freshdesk integrations and related workflows.
• Analyze production issues and provide root-cause analysis and permanent solutions.
• Ensure application security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
