Senior PHP / Laravel Developer

MHI Services Pvt. Ltd. is expanding its Lahore office team and looking for a PHP/Laravel Developer with 3+ years of professional experience to join our Software Development team.

The selected candidate will work on web-based business applications, modular software systems, dashboards, APIs, and related solutions, with a focus on developing clean, secure, scalable, and maintainable software.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of recent professional experience with PHP and Laravel development.
• Good knowledge of building Shopify APIs and synchronization of Laravel systems with Shopify websites.
• Strong understanding of Laravel MVC architecture and OOP concepts.
• Good experience with MySQL and relational databases.
• Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Laravel features such as Eloquent, Migrations, Middleware, Authentication, Queues, Jobs, Events, and Notifications.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and version control.
• Experience working with existing Laravel applications, codebases, and modular software systems.
• Good understanding of authentication, roles, permissions, and application security.
• Practical experience with AWS services, particularly Amazon S3 and AWS Lightsail, for application hosting and file/storage management.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and Laravel.
• Build and enhance modules related to users, administration, reports, business processes, payments, and other system functions.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
• Design and maintain database structures, relationships, and optimize queries.
• Implement authentication, roles, permissions, and security features.
• Work with AWS S3 and AWS Lightsail for application hosting, file storage, and related application requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across different software modules.
• Improve application performance, reliability, and functionality.
• Write clean, reusable, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Work with developers, QA, and management to understand requirements and deliver new features and modules.
• Maintain, improve, and extend existing Laravel applications.
• Ensure new functionality integrates properly with existing modules without affecting current system operations.
• Stay up-to-date with Laravel, PHP, AWS, and modern web development practices.

Qualification: BCS, BSCS, MCS, Software Engineering, or relevant field.
