Senior Planner

About the role

The Senior Planner role is responsible for providing effective project management resources that employ practical, proven project management methodology, tools & techniques and implement new projects on time and in a successful manner within the Program Management department.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly & monthly Master Production Schedules (MPS)
• Handle Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
• Coordinate directly with clients to manage expectations, communications and resolve delivery escalation
• Monitor component shortages, manage inventory parameters, and work with procurement on material substitutions or End-of-Life (EOL) plans
• Lead planning and scheduling activities for multiple projects and operational functions
• Analyse data, trends, and forecasts to support planning decisions
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with objectives
• Monitor progress against plans and identify potential risks or delays
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management
• Mentor junior planners and provide technical guidance

About you

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 to 8 years in production planning, inventory control, or manufacturing operations, ideally in electronics or semiconductor sectors
• Experience at least 5 to 8 years in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment
• Hands-on experience with enterprise software with advanced proficiency in SAP or standard MRP system preferred
• Strong analytical and math skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel for data tracking & reporting
• Exceptional verbal and written skills to liaise with cross functional shop-floor teams and external stakeholders
• Ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced, high mix, low-volume production environment
• Proven experience in managing & overseeing the entire lifecycle of customer order
