Senior Planner

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule & Program Management:

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project or production schedules using tools like Primavera P6, MS Project, or SAP.
  • Track critical paths, milestones, key performance indicators (KPIs), and earned value analysis (EVA).

• Resource & Capacity Planning:

  • Determine and allocate requirements for personnel, equipment, materials, and third-party contractors.
  • Forecast short- and long-term needs to prevent bottlenecks or supply chain disruptions.

• Stakeholder & Cross-Team Coordination:

  • Act as the primary liaison between project managers, engineers, commercial teams, vendors, and clients.
  • Lead review meetings, present progress updates, and resolve scheduling conflicts.

• Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure all plans comply with local regulations, industry standards, zoning laws, or contract specifications.
  • Prepare high-level analytical reports, feasibility studies, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Leadership & Mentorship:

  • Guide, train, and supervise junior planners or project coordinators.

Academic Qualification:

• Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or Structural Engineering is the standard baseline.
• Degrees in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (MEP focus) or Construction Science are also widely accepted.

Skills & Experience:

• 7 years above.
• Proficient in P6.
