Senior Planner / Planner | EST

Contract: 1-2 Years Duration

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Develop baseline and working schedules covering WBS, sequencing, logic and resource loading, where applicable.
• Monitor project progress across engineering, procurement and construction activities.
• Analyse schedule performance, identify deviations, risks and potential delays, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards and look-ahead schedules.
• Perform critical path analysis, delay analysis and earned value analysis for senior-level responsibilities.
• Coordinate schedule reviews with Project Managers, Engineering Leads, Procurement, Commercial and Construction teams.
• Interface with clients, contractors, consultants and vendors to maintain alignment on project timelines.
• Support project controls through accurate data collection, validation and reporting.
• Ensure project schedules and reporting are maintained in accordance with project requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Construction or related discipline.
• Planner: approximately 2–3 years of relevant planning/scheduling experience.
• Senior Planner: approximately 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience within an EPCM / engineering / construction project environment.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) and project scheduling principles.
• Senior candidates should have experience with critical path analysis, delay analysis, schedule logic and Earned Value Management.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with good attention to detail.
• Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project.
