Senior Platform Architect - West

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Platform Architect - West to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $200,000 – $225,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Own customers' production readiness and activation processes
• Drive first production workflows to shorten time-to-production
• Establish standards for reliability and best practices
• Manage customer technical programs and KPI-driven success plans
• Monitor system health signals and lead technical reviews
• Surface growth signals and partner with customers to enable new workloads
• Translate production success into narratives for renewals and growth

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software or solutions engineering experience
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and reliability engineering
• Proficient in Go, Java, TypeScript, or Python
• Experience in building and operating large-scale production systems
• Skill in debugging complex technical issues for customers
• Excellent technical communication abilities across diverse audiences
• Experience in creating technical documentation and training materials
• Self-motivated and capable of collaborative teamwork
