Senior Platform Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer with a strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs).

This role is ideal for someone who has built and operated cloud native platforms at scale and is passionate about creating seamless developer experiences through automation, self-service infrastructure, and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance our Internal Developer Platform (IDP) within GCP.
• Develop self-service infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tooling.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code and GitOps best practices.
• Improve developer experience through golden paths, standardisation, and platform automation.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and security teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.

Essential Experience

• 5+ years' experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Kubernetes
• Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• CI/CD pipelines
• GitHub Actions and/or ArgoCD
• Cloud observability, monitoring, and automation
• Experience building and operating platforms in high-availability, cloud-native SaaS/PaaS environments.
• Experience designing secure environments for sensitive or regulated workloads.
