Senior Platform Engineer (Node.js & AWS / Infrastructure)

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to design and scale core infrastructure and shared capabilities powering mission-critical partner and developer ecosystems.

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will join the Infrastructure & Platform team, building high-throughput shared services, authentication/authorization layers, and self-service developer platforms. You will partner directly with Tech Leads and Architecture to build systems that scale across the US, Brazil, and international hubs.

Key Initiatives:

• Developer & Partner Portal: Architecting and building secure, partner-facing API platforms, credential management, interactive documentation, and metrics pipelines.
• Notification & Shared Services: Scaling event-driven webhook architectures and notification engines (SendGrid, Twilio, in-app messaging).
• Security & Cloud Infrastructure: Implementing zero-trust authentication (AuthN/AuthZ) using AWS Cognito, Lambda Authorizers, and API Gateways via Terraform.

Core Requirements:

• System Design & Distributed Architecture : Proven track record in architecting reliable, resilient, and scalable backend/platform services.
• Node.js & TypeScript Mastery: 6+ years of production experience building high-performance services with Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.
• AWS & Cognito Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS Cognito (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, M2M tokens, user pools), API Gateway, Lambda, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Solid experience creating and maintaining Terraform / Terragrunt configurations across multi-environment setups.
• Strong focus on REST API design (OpenAPI/Swagger), API lifecycle versioning, and least-privilege security.
• Fluent English
