Senior Platform Specialist

Job Summary

The Data & Automation Platform Specialist drives data analytics, automation, and digitalization across HRA, SCD, R&D / Analytical Laboratories, and Quality Control.

The role focuses on structuring datasets, automating manual processes, developing analytical solutions, and converting information from text, spreadsheets, documents, images, laboratory outputs, and video into usable data for analytics and enabling insightful decision. It will also support the development of an integrated platform connecting local systems, shared drives, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and approved AI tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain structured datasets, data models, and data-quality standards.
• Automate repetitive workflows, reporting, file processing, and data conversion using scripting and digital tools.
• Extract and transform information from Excel, PDF, text, images, laboratory files, databases, APIs, and other sources.
• Develop dashboards, analytical reports, and data visualizations to support business and technical decision-making.
• Build automation solutions using technologies such as Python, SQL, Power Automate, Power Query, and APIs.
• Apply AI tools for document processing, data extraction, analysis, knowledge retrieval, and workflow automation where appropriate.
• Support departmental digitalization projects and identify opportunities to reduce manual work and improve data accuracy.
• Develop reusable solutions that can be scaled across departments.
• Support and enhance business platforms, applications, SharePoint, and internally developed digital tools.
• Work with business users, vendors, and IT teams to gather requirements and implement practical solutions.
• Maintain appropriate documentation, version control, validation, data governance, and access control.
• Provide user training and promote adoption of data, automation, and AI technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, Engineering, Science, Business Analytics, or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, automation, digital transformation, or platform development.
• Practical experience in data analysis, scripting, workflow automation, and reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, preferably Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Query, and Excel.
• Experience with Python, SQL, APIs, databases, and modern AI tools is highly preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, chemical, R&D, laboratory, QC, or SAP environments is an advantage.
