What they need
Where the Desert Meets Its Oasis
Seven sprawling acres of crystalline water. A nine-story waterfall. A lazy river that winds beneath the shadow of South Mountain. This is not a swimming pool — this is The Oasis , Arizona Grand Resort & Spa’s legendary aquatic playground, and it needs a guardian worthy of its grandeur.
If you’ve mastered the chemistry, the mechanics, and the quiet artistry of keeping water flawless, Phoenix is calling — and so are we.
The Role
As our Senior Pool Technician , you won’t just maintain pools. You’ll be the unseen hand behind a guest experience that draws travelers from around the globe to float, splash, and unwind beneath 300+ days of Arizona sunshine a year. You’ll lead with precision, mentor with patience, and troubleshoot with the calm confidence of someone who’s seen it all — and fixed it all.
- Oversee daily water quality testing, chemical balancing, and equipment inspections across multiple pools and water features
- Diagnose and repair pumps, filters, heaters, and automated chemical systems
- Guide and train junior technicians, setting the standard for safety and craftsmanship
- Ensure full compliance with county, state, and health department regulations
- Collaborate with facilities and resort leadership to keep The Oasis operating at its sparkling best, every single day
What You Bring
- Proven experience in commercial pool operations and maintenance
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) credential, or the readiness to earn one fast
- A sharp eye for detail and an even sharper sense of pride in your work
- Comfort working outdoors in the Sonoran Desert climate — this is Phoenix, after all
- Leadership instincts and a collaborative spirit
Why Arizona Grand Resort & Spa
Nestled against the red rock beauty of South Mountain Park — one of the largest municipal parks in the country — our resort is a destination unto itself, just minutes from downtown Phoenix’s thriving arts, dining, and sports scene. You’ll work where guests vacation, in a city known for year-round sunshine, dramatic desert sunsets, and an unmistakable energy found only in the Valley of the Sun.
We believe exceptional hospitality starts with how we treat our team. Here, you’ll find:
- Competitive pay that reflects your expertise
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
- Paid time off and resort-wide travel discounts
- A culture built on respect, craftsmanship, and genuine care — for guests and teammates alike
- Room to grow within one of Phoenix’s most storied resort properties
