Senior Position - Contracts - Data Center

1. Contract Drafting & Negotiation

• Draft, review, negotiate and finalize colocation/customer agreements, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), amendments, settlement agreements and other commercial contracts.
• Manage both standard-form and bespoke contractual structures based on customer and business requirements.
• Review commercial and contractual terms to identify risks, obligations, liabilities and areas requiring negotiation.
• Support complex customer negotiations and provide contractual inputs to achieve commercially viable outcomes.

2. Contract Lifecycle Management

• Manage the complete contract lifecycle from proposal and negotiation through execution and ongoing administration.
• Ensure contracts are processed in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, internal approval mechanisms and commercial objectives.
• Track contractual milestones, obligations, approvals, renewals, amendments and other key activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.

3. Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Legal, Operations, Finance and Contracts leadership to facilitate contract negotiations and resolve contractual issues.
• Act as a key contractual interface between the organization and customers.
• Ensure alignment between contractual commitments and operational capabilities.
• Maintain consistency in contractual standards, positions and negotiation approaches across assigned accounts.

4. Contractual Risk & Issue Management

• Identify, assess and proactively manage contractual and commercial risks across the assigned contract portfolio.
• Monitor contract progress and timelines and ensure timely closure of pending contractual matters.
• Support dispute resolution, settlement discussions and resolution of contractual issues in coordination with Legal and relevant business stakeholders.
• Escalate significant contractual risks and issues to senior management with appropriate recommendations.

5. Contract Frameworks & Process Improvement

• Support the development, review and enhancement of standard contract templates, clauses, workflows and negotiation frameworks for colocation and data center services.
• Contribute to improving contract management processes, governance and turnaround times.
• Identify opportunities to standardize contractual practices and improve efficiency across the contract lifecycle.

6. Reporting & Governance

• Maintain regular reporting on the status of assigned contracts, negotiations, risks, pending actions and key milestones.
• Provide periodic updates and insights to senior management on portfolio performance and critical contractual matters.
• Ensure compliance with contractual governance standards and internal approval processes.

Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of overall experience, with at least 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in contract drafting and negotiation.

• Experience preferably within Data Centers, Telecommunications, Technology Infrastructure, Real Estate, or related infrastructure sectors.

• Strong experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating:

• Colocation Agreements

• Customer Agreements

• Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

• Contract Amendments

• Settlement Agreements

• Commercial and bespoke contractual arrangements

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex customer-facing contractual negotiations and multiple contracts simultaneously.

• Strong understanding of contractual risk, commercial terms, contract lifecycle management and governance.

• Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Finance and Operations teams.
