Senior Power BI Developer

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space.

This role will drive the design and delivery of enterprise business intelligence solutions that support decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to shape reporting architecture, standardize semantic models, and improve the quality and scalability of analytics. This position will also play a key role in modernizing reporting assets, optimizing data performance, and enabling executive-level visibility through interactive dashboards and reports.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise BI solutions using Power BI and SSAS
• Lead requirements gathering and solution architecture for BI projects
• Govern enterprise semantic models and standardize calculations for reporting
• Develop advanced DAX calculations and optimize SQL queries and data models
• Create executive dashboards and deliver interactive reports following Power BI best practices
• Integrate data from warehouses, Azure Data Lakes, and other sources for analysis
• Support BI migrations, ensuring compliance and artifact refactoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of Microsoft Power BI development experience
• 10+ years supporting enterprise data warehousing and BI environments
• 5+ years of experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• 5+ years of experience with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
• Experience administering large-scale BI solutions
