Job Title: Senior Power BI Developer with SQL and SAP Integration Expertise

Location: Hyderabad-India

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Power BI Developer with a strong background in SQL, ETL processes, and DAX calculations. The ideal candidate will also have expertise in integrating SQL data sources with SAP (on-premise). This role requires a professional who can design, develop, and maintain analytical dashboards, manage large datasets, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring usability and performance.
• Perform advanced DAX calculations for custom measures and data visualization needs.
• Integrate and transform data from SAP (on-premise) into SQL Server for reporting and analytics.
• Implement ETL processes to extract, clean, and prepare data for business intelligence projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, delivering effective data-driven solutions.
• Optimize queries, improve data retrieval processes, and ensure data accuracy across systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues related to Power BI reports and SQL data sources.
• Work closely with the SAP team to streamline data flow and ensure efficient integration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Power BI development, including DAX functions and advanced analytics.
• Strong expertise in SQL programming and ETL processes .
• Hands-on experience with SAP (on-premise) as a data source for reporting.
• Solid understanding of data modelling concepts and database management.
• Experience in performance tuning of reports and queries.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA or SAP BEx Queries is a plus.
• Experience with other visualization tools like Tableau or QlikView is an advantage.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R for data manipulation.
