Senior PowerBI and Tableau Developer

About the role

This Senior PowerBI and Tableau Developer role is intended to support a high-demand US-based client. The position requires an independent, senior-level expert who can manage end-to-end BI development, business analysis, client communication, and data modeling. The client is highly detail-oriented, demanding, and challenges deliverables frequently, therefore, the candidate must be confident, proactive, and capable of handling pressure while maintaining strong client-facing professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Present analytical results to internal and external stakeholders
• Document what was built, how it was built, and why
• Perform knowledge transfer (KT) to other team members
• Use project templates, tools, and standards when developing data sets or BI components
• Manage and refine Business Requirements
• Discover and validate business rules using available data
• Prepare prototypes and visualization concepts in BI tools
• Identify opportunities to enhance data reliability, efficiency, and quality
• Discuss business use cases with business users independently
• Create and demonstrate solution prototypes, mockups, or full demos

About you

• 4–6+ years of hands-on experience developing BI solutions using both Power BI and Tableau
• Strong experience building and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations in both Power BI and Tableau
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end BI solutions using both Power BI and Tableau, from requirements gathering to deployment and stakeholder presentation
• Experience administering and publishing content through Power BI Service and Tableau Server/Cloud
• High level of ownership and responsibility
• Strong attention to detail and deliverable quality
• Composed under pressure, confident in challenging conversations
• Proactive, curious, and solution-driven
• Comfortable mentoring and guiding other developers
