Senior Practice Nurse

A world-renowned international healthcare organisation is looking for an experienced Senior Practice Nurse to join its premium GP and Executive Health screening service in the City of London.

This is general practice nursing at a different level. You'll have the time to give each patient real care, a multidisciplinary team around you, and the backing of a brand that is a byword for clinical excellence around the world.

What you'll be doing

• Leading nursing care for GP and executive health screening patients, including assessments, phlebotomy, ECGs and patient education
• Delivering advanced clinical interventions in line with world-class protocols and NICE guidance, including women's health and travel vaccinations
• Mentoring and supervising junior nurses, and shaping their induction, education and development
• Working closely with GPs, executive health physicians and specialists to give patients a seamless pathway
• Helping shape the service through audit, quality improvement, SOPs and patient safety reviews

What you'll bring

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
• Significant experience in general practice nursing or health screening
• Competence in cervical screening and immunisations
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, and a genuine drive to keep improving

Even better if you have

• Experience in private healthcare or with screening patients
• Training in travel health, women's health or advanced clinical assessment
