Senior Pre-Construction Manager - Data Center Developer

An established data center developer, owner and operator is looking to add an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to its Tenant Fit-Out team.

This is an owner side role leading pre-construction across complex data center fit-outs, with responsibility for turning design and tenant requirements into buildable, schedule driven execution plans.

The wider platform is developing hyperscale and AI-ready infrastructure across multiple markets, giving this role exposure to complex projects and direct influence before construction reaches the field.

The Role

You’ll lead pre-construction from early planning through construction readiness, working across design, estimating, scheduling, procurement, permitting and construction.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead master scheduling, constructability reviews and procurement planning for TFO deployments
• Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, BIM, Estimating and Design teams to develop buildable solutions
• Lead constructability and value engineering reviews with GCs and subcontractors
• Develop long-lead procurement strategies for critical equipment and materials
• Coordinate permitting strategy and AHJ requirements across multiple jurisdictions
• Identify delivery risks and develop mitigation strategies before construction
• Manage, mentor and develop a team of pre-construction professionals

What They're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field
• Strong pre-construction experience within data centers.
• Strong scheduling capability, including Primavera P6 or comparable platforms
• Experience with constructability, value engineering and long-lead procurement
• Understanding of permitting and AHJ requirements across multiple jurisdictions
• Experience leading or mentoring pre-construction teams
• Ability to connect design, procurement, schedule and construction into a practical delivery strategy
• Strong communication skills across internal teams, GCs and trade partners
