Senior Pricing Analyst (Insurance)

We are looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded Senior Pricing Analyst to drive product profitability, pricing excellence, and process automation. This role combines data analysis, pricing strategy, stakeholder management, and business insight to support sustainable portfolio growth in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

MANDATE SCOPE OF SENIOR PRICING ANALYST

• Develop and manage pricing frameworks for individual and SME insurance products.
• Maintain product rate books and support annual product reviews and repricing exercises.
• Analyze claims, premium, demographic, and utilization data to optimize product performance.
• Build forecasting models using claims trends, medical inflation, and market benchmarks.
• Create automated pricing models, quote engines, premium calculators, and analysis templates.
• Improve pricing workflows and collaborate with data teams to develop reporting dashboards.
• Negotiate pricing structures, plan designs, and renewals with insurers.
• Present data-driven insights and recommendations to sales teams and management.
• Support strategic initiatives, including portfolio transfers and new business assessments.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Pricing Analysis, Insurance Pricing, Underwriting, Actuarial, or similar analytical roles.
• Strong understanding of pricing methodologies and risk assessment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong presentation and communication abilities.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Experience in Health Insurance or Employee Benefits Insurance.
• Knowledge of VBA, Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools.
• Experience developing automated pricing or reporting solutions.
