Senior Pricing Coordinator

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Senior Pricing Coordinator within our Perth Team. This position will be responsible for the development, coordination and delivery of commercially competitive pricing solutions. Reporting directly to the Area Vice President – Australia & PNG, this role plays a key part in supporting business growth through the preparation of quotations, commercial proposals, customer tenders and pricing strategies across all freight forwarding and logistics services.

 Working closely with Operations, Business Development, Procurement and Global Network partners, the Senior Pricing Coordinator will ensure pricing is accurate, commercially viable, aligned with company objectives and delivered within customer deadlines.  The role requires strong commercial acumen, analytical capability and a thorough understanding of international freight forwarding, project logistics and supply chain solutions.

The fundamental responsibilities of this role include:

• Prepare accurate, competitive and commercially sound quotations for domestic and international freight forwarding opportunities.
• Lead the preparation and coordination of customer RFQs, RFPs and commercial tenders from initial enquiry through to submission.
• Develop pricing models and commercial solutions that maximise profitability whilst remaining competitive within the market.
• Analyse customer requirements and develop tailored logistics solutions across Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs, Warehousing, Transport and Project Logistics.
• Liaise with global offices, overseas agents, carriers and suppliers to obtain competitive buy rates.
• Maintain and negotiate supplier pricing where appropriate to ensure competitive market positioning.
• Conduct cost analysis and margin reviews to ensure quotations meet company profitability targets.
• Support strategic customer reviews by analysing pricing performance and identifying commercial opportunities.
• Follow up all quotations to maximise conversion opportunities and maintain an accurate quotation pipeline.
• Maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure all pricing information is accurately maintained within company systems.
• Prepare regular pricing reports including quotation activity, win/loss analysis, tender performance and gross profit analysis.
• Monitor pricing trends, carrier rate movements and market conditions to identify commercial risks and opportunities.
• Recommend pricing improvements and process efficiencies to enhance profitability and customer service.
• Ensure all quotations comply with company policies, customer requirements and applicable legislation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Pricing and Commercial function.
• Maintain confidentiality of commercial information and customer pricing.

The successful candidate will have:

• Extensive experience within international freight forwarding or logistics.
• Strong commercial pricing and financial analysis skills.
• Demonstrated experience preparing RFQs, RFPs and commercial tenders.
• Strong understanding of international Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs Brokerage, Transport and Project Logistics.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements and develop commercially competitive solutions.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyse pricing data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of organisation with the ability to manage multiple tender deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical capability.
• Ability to work autonomously whilst collaborating effectively across multiple departments.
• Current unrestricted drivers licence.
