Senior Principal Technical Program Manager (Director Level)

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Principal Technical Program Manager (Director Level) to join the team of a leader in the Media space.

This role will lead highly complex technical programs with broad business impact across a global organization. You will stay close to program details while driving strategy, resolving conflicts, and ensuring cross-functional alignment from planning through execution. The position requires deep engagement with technical platforms and architectures, along with the ability to turn complex initiatives into clear, executable roadmaps that support organizational goals.

Location: San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $227,200 – $304,700 annually

Responsibilities

• Deliver highly complex initiatives that have significant impact on the company's success
• Stay connected to program details and nuances throughout execution
• Solve complex technical problems, set program goals, and resolve conflicts
• Dive deep into technical platforms and their architectures
• Define strategies and create executable roadmaps for owned programs

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience managing large-scale, strategic software development programs in global technology organizations
• Expert ability to facilitate effective communication across teams
• Proven success leading cross-functional projects and driving alignment across multiple functions
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for high-level decision-making
