Senior Process Engineer (Backgrinding, Wafer Saw and Singulation)

Job description:

Key Responsibilities

• Supervises operator activities, including attendance monitoring, certification tracking, and shift scheduling.
• Accepts and manages customer orders and develops operational plans to meet shipment requirements.
• Coordinates with Maintenance and Process Engineering teams to request support and resolve production or quality-related issues in order to achieve operational targets.
• In collaboration with Process and Quality Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Facilities, supports organizational compliance with Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental, Health and Safety, and International Automotive Task Force (IATF) requirements. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Selecting and controlling special characteristics
• Setting and monitoring quality objectives and related training
• Implementing corrective and preventive actions
• Conducting capacity analysis
• Managing customer portals and customer-specific requirements
• Driving initiatives to ensure customer satisfaction

Job Qualifications:

Education

• Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or any related Engineering discipline

Years of Related Experience

• Possesses at least five (5) years of supervisory experience in the semiconductor or electronics industry

Certification / License

• Relevant certifications are an advantage

• Experienced in backgrinding, wafer saw and singulation.
• Demonstrates above-average computer literacy
• Exhibits strong people management and leadership skills
• Applies highly analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Communicates effectively through strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills
• Demonstrates working knowledge of SPC, DOE, FMEA, TCM, and automotive core tools such as APQP, PPAP, and MSA
• Applies basic knowledge and understanding of Quality Management Systems, Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) standards, and IATF requirements, including customer-specific requirements
