• Perform engineering studies, engineering design, specify process equipment, review and analysis of vendor data to satisfy project requirements. Function as technical specialist to formulate and develop advanced engineering concepts.
• Prepare various engineering deliverables (Drawings & Documents) such as Process Flow Diagrams, P & I Diagrams, Process Datasheets, Equipment Specifications, Cause & Effect Diagrams, control philosophies, shutdown philosophies, HAZOP Studies & reports,
• Operation & maintenance manuals etc. and providing necessary engineering inputs to the other disciplines and other departments. In conjunction with the Facilities and Completion Engineers, formulating specific strategies for optimizing existing and building new facilities.
• Process Optimization, sizing & selection of equipment etc. for Tenders (as required) and for awarded Projects. Review of tender's documents, specifications, datasheets, verification of project design & calculations.
• Ensure that process systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently and safely, provide technical support to offshore team to optimize the performance of MRU system and other process system based on actual operating condition.
• Review the concept selection on process MOC, flow assurance, central compression from design institutes and provide technical comments.
• Ensure technical and quality compliance of scope of work with relevant standards and procedures consistent with project objectives. Conduct/follow Peer Check and Squad Check procedures for technical deliverables.
• Communicates internally with various groups including project management and operations. Communicates externally with technical specialists of oil & gas producers and engineering clients. Qualifications： -B.E / B.TECH / B.S. – Chemical and Process Engineering -Specialization in Petroleum / Chemical Engineering preferred -A minimum 15 years experience in production / process engineering -Knowledge of regulatory and licensing requirements -Understanding of the requirement and need for Management of Change -Skilled in process safety (HAZOP, LOPA, RAPHA, F&EI calculation) -Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications -Strong knowledge and skills of using HYSYS and other process simulation softwares
