Senior Process Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our Engineering Division at Çalık Enerji Headquarters in Istanbul.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the preparation and verification of Heat & Mass Balance (HMB), PFDs, and P&IDs for the Water and Wastewater Systems.
• Provide technical support in fluid flow and process calculations for the Water and Wastewater Systems.
• Assist in preparing technical specifications for equipment and instrumentation for the Water and Wastewater Systems.
• Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews (HAZOP, SIL, etc.) and coordinate with other engineering departments.
• Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (EN, ASME, API, ISO).
• Support the evaluation of vendor technical bids and coordinate with external engineering consultants.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or higher degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering within the Water and Wastewater Treatment.
• Advanced knowledge of process simulation software (Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II, Thermoflow, AutoCAD) and HMB calculations.
• Strong understanding of international standards and EPC project dynamics.
• Professional fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to project sites or vendor offices.
