Our client, a respected engineering and project execution business servicing the mining and mineral processing sector, is seeking a seasoned Senior Process Engineer to join their team on the East Rand. This is an opportunity to influence high-value projects, drive process optimisation, and contribute to the successful delivery of innovative mineral processing solutions.

This role is suited to a process professional who thrives on solving technically demanding problems, enjoys working across multidisciplinary teams, and wants to play a key role in shaping projects from concept through to commissioning.

POSITION INFO: Your Impact Lead process design activities for mineral processing projects. Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, mass balances, and process calculations. Participate in feasibility studies, process optimisation initiatives, and plant improvement projects. Provide technical input during project execution, commissioning, and plant start-ups. Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and project engineering teams. Engage with clients and stakeholders to deliver practical, commercially viable solutions. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering standards. What We're Looking For BEng or BSc Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, or Process Engineering qualification. Minimum 5 years' experience within the Mining and Mineral Processing industry . Strong understanding of mineral processing operations and process engineering principles. Exposure to plant design, commissioning, and optimisation projects. Experience within the Gold Processing sector will be highly advantageous. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
