Senior Process Engineer / Process Engineer | EST

Responsibilities

• Develop and review process engineering design documentation, including Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), system layouts, and equipment/instrument datasheets.
• Define system design deliverables and coordinate project scope requirements with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in tender preparation, technical clarification, proposal evaluation and tender recommendationactivities.
• Review vendor documentation to ensure technical compliance, completeness and alignment with project requirements.
• Coordinate with Process Supervisors and project teams to ensure systems are completed according to schedule.
• Support project budgeting and cost estimation activities.
• Support and participate in Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), inspections, system start-up, testing and commissioning.
• Support successful system turnover and handover to clients.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Commissioning, QA/QC, Safety and other engineering disciplines.
• Senior-level candidates will provide technical guidance to Process Engineers, participate in Risk and Process Hazard Analysis, oversee design deliverables and take greater ownership of project execution.
• Senior-level candidates will also support inspection and test planning and mentor junior engineering personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
• Diploma holders may be considered with additional relevant experience and/or professional certifications.
• Process Engineer: approximately 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Senior Process Engineer: approximately 6–8 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant design and/or construction experience involving Deionized/Ultrapure Water, Wastewater, Chemical or Gas Systems.
• Experience producing or reviewing PFDs, P&IDs, system layouts and technical datasheets.
• Understanding of applicable engineering codes and standards used by international clients.
• Experience working with vendors, contractors, consultants and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Familiarity with relevant engineering/design software.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving abilities.
• Senior candidates should demonstrate stronger technical ownership, stakeholder management and ability to guide junior engineers.
