Senior Process Engineer – WWTP 工艺工程师 – 水与废水处理

Darco Water Systems Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our team in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.

The successful candidate will be responsible for process design and technical support for water and wastewater treatment projects, including proposal and tender preparation, process calculations, cost estimation, technical documentation and project execution support.

The role will also support the development of junior engineers, evaluation of new treatment technologies and continuous improvement of the Company's water and wastewater treatment solutions.

此职位主要负责水与废水处理项目的工艺设计及技术支持，包括方案及投标准备、工艺计算、成本估算、技术文件编制以及项目执行阶段的技术支持。

同时，此职位也将参与初级工程师的培养、新水处理技术的评估，以及持续提升公司的水与废水处理技术与解决方案。

Key Responsibilities | 主要职责

Process Design & Engineering | 工艺设计与工程

• Develop process designs for water and wastewater treatment systems based on project and customer requirements.
  根据项目及客户需求，进行水与废水处理系统的工艺设计。
• Prepare and review PFD, P&ID, plant layouts, process calculations, equipment sizing and technical specifications.
  编制及审核工艺流程图（PFD）、管道及仪表流程图（P&ID）、厂区布置图、工艺计算、设备选型及技术规格。
• Perform detailed process design and assist in preparing control philosophy upon project award.
  项目中标后进行详细工艺设计，并协助编制控制方案（Control Philosophy）。
• Conduct jar testing, site studies and technical assessments where required.
  根据项目需要进行烧杯试验（Jar Test）、现场勘察及技术评估。
• Provide process and technical support during project execution.
  在项目执行过程中提供工艺及技术支持。
• Assist in testing and commissioning of treatment plants and projects.
  协助处理系统及项目的测试与调试（Testing & Commissioning）。
• Proposal, Tender & Costing | 方案、投标与成本估算
• Prepare and coordinate technical proposals and tender submissions for water and wastewater treatment systems.
  准备及协调水与废水处理系统的技术方案及投标文件。
• Prepare process descriptions, technical write-ups, datasheets, specifications and other supporting documentation.
  编制工艺说明、技术文件、数据表、技术规格及其他投标相关文件。
• Prepare and assist in cost estimation for proposals and tenders.
  负责及协助方案和投标项目的成本估算。
• Review costing and pricing to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  审核项目成本及报价，确保其准确性及完整性。
• Coordinate and liaise with vendors and subcontractors on RFQs based on design requirements and tender specifications.
  根据设计要求及投标规格，与供应商及分包商协调**询价（RFQ）**事宜。
• Participate in tender briefings, technical discussions and meetings with customers.
  参与投标说明会、技术讨论及客户会议。

Technology Development & Improvement | 技术开发与改进

• Explore and evaluate new water and wastewater treatment technologies, equipment and vendors.
  探索及评估新的水与废水处理技术、设备及供应商。
• Assist the Manager/Assistant Manager in technology research, pilot studies and process development.
  协助经理/助理经理进行新技术研究、试验项目（Pilot Study）及工艺开发。
• Identify opportunities to improve treatment performance, system efficiency and overall process design.
  寻找改善处理效果、系统效率及整体工艺设计的机会。
• Keep updated on industry developments and suitable technologies that can support the Company's water and wastewater treatment solutions.
  掌握行业最新发展及相关技术，以提升公司的水与废水处理解决方案。

Team Development & Technical Support | 团队发展与技术支持

• Guide and support junior Process Engineers and review the quality and accuracy of their work.
  指导及协助初级工艺工程师，并审核其工作质量及准确性。
• Monitor and support the development and career progression of junior team members.
  关注及协助初级工程师的工作发展与职业成长。
• Prepare technical training materials and conduct periodic training for engineers and technicians.
  准备技术培训教材，并定期为工程师及技术人员提供培训。
• Work closely with Sales, Project, Service and Operations teams to provide process and technical support when required.
  与销售、项目、服务及营运团队紧密合作，并在需要时提供工艺及技术支持。

What We're Looking For | 任职要求

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Process Engineering or a related discipline.
  持有化学工程、环境工程、工艺工程或相关专业学士学位。

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment or related process engineering.
  至少拥有 3–5年水处理、废水处理或相关工艺工程经验。

• Good knowledge of physical, chemical and biological water/wastewater treatment processes.
  熟悉水与废水处理的物理、化学及生物处理工艺。

• Experience in process design, equipment sizing, PFD/P&ID preparation, technical proposals, tender preparation and cost estimation.
  具备工艺设计、设备选型、PFD/P&ID、技术方案、投标文件及成本估算相关经验。

• Familiarity with relevant environmental regulations and discharge requirements.
  熟悉相关环境法规及排放标准。

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  具备良好的分析、故障排查及解决问题能力。

• Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, subcontractors and internal teams.
  具备良好的沟通及协调能力，能够有效地与客户、供应商、分包商及内部团队合作。

• Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin is preferred to facilitate effective communication, technical discussions and coordination with Mandarin-speaking customers and business partners.
  具备良好的中文书写及口语沟通能力者优先考虑，以便与华语客户及业务合作伙伴进行有效沟通、技术讨论及协调。

• Able to guide junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing within the team.
  具备指导初级工程师及团队技术知识分享的能力。

• Professional engineering registration, or commitment towards obtaining professional registration, will be an added advantage.
  已取得专业工程师相关注册资格，或有意申请相关专业资格者优先考虑。

• Willing to travel to project sites or customer premises when required.
  能够根据工作需要前往项目现场或客户地点出差。
