Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and guidance on process safety across the LPG business
• Lead and support Safety Case development, submissions and regulatory engagement
• Facilitate risk assessments and technical studies, including HAZOP, LOPA and bowtie analysis
• Support the management and assurance of Safety Critical Controls
• Facilitate Management of Change and Operational Risk Assessments
• Work with site and engineering teams to identify risks and develop practical controls
• Lead and support incident investigations, including identifying trends and sharing learnings
• Participate in internal, external and regulatory audits and coordinate actions through to close-out
• Review and maintain Emergency Response and Business Continuity Plans
• Identify opportunities to strengthen systems, processes and reporting across the business

About You

• Tertiary Engineering qualification with Chartered Engineer status
• Strong background in process safety, risk management and safety management systems
• Experience working with Safety Cases, HAZOP, LOPA, bowtie analysis and SFARP/ALARP
• Sound understanding of Major Hazard Facility requirements and relevant legislation
• Strong analytical, technical writing and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with engineering, operations, HSE and regulatory stakeholders
• Practical and collaborative approach with a focus on delivering quality outcomes
