A leading global manufacturing organisation is seeking a Senior Procurement Analyst to join its procurement function during an exciting period of global transformation.

This is a highly strategic and commercially focused opportunity, going well beyond traditional procurement reporting and spend analysis.

Working closely with senior procurement stakeholders, you will play a key role in analysing global supply markets, developing commercial forecasts and supporting complex sourcing strategies across an international manufacturing network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver strategic market intelligence across global raw materials, commodities and supplier markets.
• Analyse pricing trends, supply risks, cost drivers and macroeconomic developments to identify commercial opportunities.
• Develop forecasting models, pricing benchmarks and should-cost analysis to support sourcing strategies and negotiations.
• Support global sourcing initiatives through supplier analysis, scenario modelling and e-sourcing optimisation.
• Translate complex market data into actionable commercial recommendations for senior procurement stakeholders.
• Partner with Procurement, Finance, Commercial and Technical teams across multiple international locations.
• Contribute to the wider transformation of the global procurement function, with future exposure to additional spend categories.

Experience Required:

• Experience within procurement analytics, strategic sourcing, market intelligence, category management or commercial analysis .
• Strong analytical capabilities, including advanced Excel, commercial modelling and data interpretation.
• Good understanding of supplier markets, pricing structures and strategic sourcing processes.
• Ability to translate complex analysis into clear commercial recommendations.
• Experience within manufacturing, direct materials or industrial procurement would be advantageous, although not essential.
• Exposure to e-sourcing platforms, sourcing optimisation, forecasting or should-cost modelling would be beneficial.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
