Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Procurement Executive to join our team in Bangalore.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in interiors, construction, or infrastructure, with strong expertise in sourcing, vendor management, negotiation, and material procurement.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services while achieving the best combination of cost, quality, and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities :

• Source and procure construction/interior materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential vendors.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with suppliers.
• Coordinate closely with project, design, and site teams to understand material and service requirements.
• Ensure timely placement and follow-up of purchase orders to avoid project delays.
• Track material deliveries and coordinate with vendors and site teams for timely receipt.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, prices, suppliers, quotations, and purchase orders.
• Compare quotations and conduct commercial evaluations to achieve cost-effective procurement.
• Monitor market prices and identify new suppliers and sourcing opportunities.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and procurement efficiency.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and approval processes.
• Resolve vendor-related issues concerning quality, quantity, pricing, and delivery.
• Support project teams in meeting procurement schedules and project deadlines.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in interiors, construction, infrastructure, or fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of material sourcing, vendor development, and price negotiation.
• Good understanding of construction/interior materials and market rates will be an advantage.
• Experience in handling multiple procurement requirements simultaneously.
• Familiarity with procurement software/ERP systems.
• Strong communication, negotiation, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of procurement activities.
• Strong follow-up skills and the ability to work effectively with project and site teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and meet deadlines.
