Senior Procurement Officer

Job Responsibilities:

·       Source and procure raw materials, chemicals, and supplies related to plastic manufacturing processes.

·       Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with both local and international suppliers.

·       Evaluate, select, and maintain relationships with qualified vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.

·       Coordinate with the warehouse, production, and quality control departments to ensure timely and accurate procurement.

·       Prepare and process purchase orders (PO) in accordance with company policies and ERP systems.

·       Monitor order status and follow up on timely deliveries to avoid production delays.

·       Maintain accurate procurement records, cost analysis reports, and supplier performance data.

·       Stay updated on market trends and raw material price fluctuations, especially in the plastic industry.

·       Support continuous improvement initiatives for procurement processes and cost optimization.

Qualifications:

·       3–5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or plastic industry

·       Knowledge of raw materials for plastic production (e.g., PP, PE) is an advantage

·       Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle)

·       Good command of English, both written and spoken

·       High level of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure

·       Good teamwork and coordination skills
