Senior Procurement Officer

Position Overview

Our client is a leading regional property developer, They are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Procurement Senior Officer/ Assistant Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be supporting high-profile property developments across Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific region. Operating as a key link within the project ecosystem, the candidate will oversee end-to-end material sourcing, supply chain intelligence, and vendor performance monitoring. The ideal candidate brings strong market knowledge of building materials, a sharp eye for budget control, and a passion for introducing innovative, eco-friendly technologies to large-scale real estate projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Sourcing & Market Intelligence: Research, evaluate, and benchmark building materials, innovative products, and emerging technologies to align with project design and technical specifications.
• Supplier Management & Negotiation: Assist in vendor negotiations, evaluate performance metrics, enforce quality standards, and ensure strict adherence to delivery schedules.
• Cost Management & Budgeting: Track procurement expenditures against approved project budgets to ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.
• Supply Chain & Sustainability Analysis: Conduct market trade studies to identify competitive, high-performing, and environmentally sustainable products and strategic vendor partnerships.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal project management, quantity surveying, and design teams to ensure seamless procurement delivery.

Requirements:

• Education: Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of project procurement experience, preferably within property development, main contracting, or building materials trading.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of building material costing, market trends, and supply chain dynamics.
• Language Skills: Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Core Competencies: Strong analytical capability, high attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently within a fast-paced team environment.
