Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Officer to manage procurement activities for electrical, infrastructure, and street lighting projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials in compliance with project specifications, budgets, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for electrical, infrastructure, and street lighting projects.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
• Obtain and analyze quotations, conduct commercial evaluations, and recommend suppliers.
• Ensure materials and equipment meet project specifications, quality standards, and delivery requirements.
• Manage purchase orders, contracts, delivery schedules, and supplier performance.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, finance, logistics, and warehouse teams.
• Review contractual terms, including FIDIC provisions and Incoterms, where applicable.
• Monitor procurement budgets, cost-saving opportunities, and market trends.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry best practices.
• Maintain procurement records, prepare reports, and resolve supplier-related issues.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8–10 years of procurement experience in electrical, infrastructure, or street lighting projects.
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior procurement role.
• Experience with major infrastructure projects in the GCC is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, Incoterms, and procurement best practices.
• Excellent negotiation, vendor management, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Immediate availability to join is mandatory.
