Senior Procurement Specialist

Duties

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify reliable vendors and secure competitive pricing for materials and services
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as SAP to streamline purchasing workflows
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and prices with suppliers to maximize value while maintaining quality standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering to forecast needs and align procurement priorities
• Monitor vendor performance through regular evaluations, ensuring compliance with quality, delivery, and service expectations
• Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, and supply chain documentation for transparency and audit readiness
• Support the implementation of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste

Requirements

• Proven experience in procurement within a manufacturing or supply chain environment
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms for procurement management
• Familiarity with sourcing strategies, vendor management, and negotiation techniques
• Understanding of pricing models, supply chain processes, and inventory control principles
• Ability to analyze data related to procurement activities including pricing trends and supplier performance metrics
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and how procurement impacts production efficiency is highly desirable

Pay: $85,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
