Senior Product Analyst

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist – Analytics & Insights to collaborate with our Product team and focus on optimizing user experience through data-driven insights. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the analytics roadmap and influence key business and product decisions in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
• The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in product analytics, particularly within domains such as Search, Ads, Payments, Trust, and Risk, and will be passionate about leveraging data to enhance customer experience and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct deep-dive analyses and evaluate A/B test results to provide actionable insights for product feature enhancements.
• Decode and validate web tracking mechanisms to understand and analyze user behaviors.
• Define and develop metrics and KPIs to measure product performance and success.
• Build dashboards and enable self-service analytics for commonly used metrics; onboard metrics to experimentation platforms.
• Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to uncover growth opportunities and guide decision-making.
• Leverage behavioral data, customer research, and data science techniques to deliver insights that influence the product roadmap.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or related quantitative fields (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of professional experience in analytics or data science roles, with a focus on product analytics.
• Hands-on experience with site experimentation / A/B testing frameworks.
• Proficiency in analytical and data visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, and Tableau.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present complex insights in a clear, actionable manner.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills & Domain Expertise

• Prior experience in product analytics across one or more domains: Search, Ads, Payments, Trust, Risk.
• Deep understanding of how product ecosystems in these domains operate.
• Experience in e-commerce or technology-driven organizations.
• Strong foundation in descriptive and inferential statistics.
• Demonstrated ability to translate analytical findings into strategic business recommendations.
• Exposure to Natural Language Processing (NLP) or Generative AI (LLMs) is a plus.
