Senior Product Development Merchandiser

What you’ll be doing?

• Liaise with suppliers for samples development;
• Provide professional support on sample development, from concept to production, on project basis.;
• Strong network on materials and trims supplier;
• Maintain strong relationship with factories & design team;
• Assist the Product Development team to do in-depth market, industry and competition analysis and positioning;
• Follow ups and accuracy, tracking the timely arrival and quality of all the sample status, ensure the key milestone dates were met;
• Support ad-hoc duties as required

Who are we looking for?

• Minimum 8 years Apparel, bags and accessories merchandising or product development experience with strong market sense;
• Diploma or above in merchandising with design background will be an advantage;
• Basic understanding of sewing techniques and bag/apparel construction;
• Ability to work independently and proactive in problem solving throughout the product development process;
• Fluent in Adobe Illustrator will be advantage;
• Experience in product development process;
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
• Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese;
• Occasional travel to factories (offshore)
