Senior Product Development Technologist

What's your role?

• Manage projects in our health category delivering to customer briefs
• Research, bench development and customer concept presentations
• Provide technical support to internal teams and customers
• Search suitable ingredients, recipes and formulations
• Modify existing products and processes and develop new ones
• Research market and trends, work on proactive opportunities
• Prepare product costing based on raw materials, manufacturing costs
• Calculate nutritionals using FoodWorks
• Coordinate launches of new products and running trials
• On-site role Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm at Derrimut.

What you'll bring to the role.

• A degree in food science
• Demonstrated work experience in a food product development role
• Experience in health food formulation, sports nutrition advantageous
• Cooking skills, creativity, able to develop flavour profiles
• A genuine passion for food and trends, contributes ideas to the team
• Sound knowledge of food regulations, legislation and safety.
