What they need
Company Description Quipper Philippines is the country’s leading K–12 e-learning solutions provider, offering an integrated platform that helps schools deliver high-quality, curriculum-aligned education. Founded in 2010 and operating in the Philippines since 2014, Quipper is part of the Manabie Group and is now focused on AI-enabled education, stronger school partnerships, and measurable learning outcomes. The platform combines an intuitive learning management system, DepEd- and CHED-aligned digital content, and hands-on implementation support for schools. With thousands of teachers, hundreds of thousands of students, and hundreds of partner schools nationwide, Quipper supports evolving curricula, hybrid learning needs, and AI-powered classroom solutions. Guided by its mission to bring the best education to every corner of the world, Quipper works closely with educators as a long-term, trusted partner in improving learning opportunities.
Role Description The Senior Product Manager will lead end-to-end product development for Quipper’s K–12 and Tertiary e-learning solutions, from discovery and strategy through launch and iteration. This full-time, on-site role is based in Manila and involves close collaboration with engineering, design, data, content, sales, and customer success teams to deliver impactful, user-centered products for schools, teachers, students, and parents. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining product vision and roadmaps, prioritizing features, gathering and analyzing user feedback and data, and translating educational needs into clear product requirements and specifications. The role also oversees product performance, conducts experiments and A/B tests, and ensures alignment with business goals, market trends, and regulatory requirements. The Senior Product Manager will mentor junior product team members, represent the product in internal and external stakeholder discussions, and champion continuous improvement across Quipper’s AI-enabled learning ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Product management and strategy: Proven experience in end-to-end product management, including roadmap development, requirements definition, and lifecycle ownership for digital or SaaS products.
- User and market research: Ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative user research, analyze market trends, and translate insights into product decisions and feature prioritization.
- Data-driven decision making: Strong skills in using analytics tools, setting KPIs, interpreting product metrics, and running experiments or A/B tests to validate hypotheses.
- Technical and cross-functional collaboration: Experience working closely with engineering, design, content, and operations teams, with enough technical understanding to discuss architectures, APIs, and implementation trade-offs.
- Stakeholder management and communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills to align diverse stakeholders, manage expectations, and build consensus.
- Leadership and mentoring: Demonstrated ability to lead projects, guide cross-functional teams, and mentor junior product managers or analysts.
Must have
- 4 or more years in product management for a software product with real users, including at least one product you took from discovery through launch and iteration.
- Experience working with a distributed or external engineering team, writing specifications and acceptance criteria that engineers can build from without a follow-up meeting.
- Evidence of customer discovery done in person: interviews, field visits, pilots, usability sessions, and decisions you changed because of them.
- Comfort with data: you define your own metrics, pull or request the numbers, and use them to argue priorities.
- Strong written and spoken English and Filipino; you will be writing for engineers in Vietnam and Japan and presenting to school principals in the provinces.
- Willingness to travel within the Philippines regularly, including to provincial schools.
Strongly preferred
- Experience in edtech, a learning platform, or a product sold to schools or institutions (B2B2C), with an understanding of the Philippine private school market and the DepEd context.
- Experience with a platform migration, re-platforming or product consolidation, where existing customers had to be moved without losing them.
- Experience with content-heavy products where curriculum, assessment or learning materials are part of the product itself.
How you work
- You are more interested in whether a teacher's Monday got easier than in whether a feature shipped.
- You can say no to a sales request and explain why in a way that keeps the salesperson on your side.
- You write things down. Decisions, trade-offs and open questions live in documents other people can read, not in your head.
- You are comfortable being the only product person in a 200-person company and building the function's habits from scratch.
