Description Ever wonder how you can keep the world’s largest selection of dangerous goods safe to deliver to Customers worldwide? Then come join a team with the charter to ensure safe, complaint, and timely fulfilment of Dangerous Goods for our customers, Selling partners, and Carrier partners.

Amazon’s Dangerous Goods (DG) organization is looking for a technical Product Manager in the Operations Technology team to build technology systems that will solve business problems. As the world’s most customer-centric company, with customers including consumers, sellers, manufacturers, regulatory agencies, and shippers world-wide, Amazon has the combination of opportunity, passion, and resources to build the next generation of industry-leading solutions using a wide range of data-driven and intelligent technological and business capabilities.

Key job responsibilities

Your prioritization decisions are well-reasoned and customer-based.
  • Work closely with our technical team: You bring crisp, clear requirements to our engineers and are fully engaged in technical discussions. In addition, you partner well with our Amazon Fulfilment technology partners.
  • Continuously drive forward progress: You are excellent at creating buy-in for your product vision and decisions. You keep stakeholders aligned and you proactively tackle blockers. When the path forward is ambiguous, you drive toward clarity while exercising concrete judgement.
  • Utilize problem-solving fundamentals, excellent attention to detail, a strong sense of end-to-end ownership, and superb verbal/written communication skills in day to day operation.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Experience owning technology products
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent
  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
