Context
Within Veolia, the team manages a portfolio of strategic digital products that support the operational performance of the Group's Business Units. In this context, we are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead a strategic mission focused on optimizing waste incineration and energy recovery.
Missions
- Build a coherent and scalable product offering from several existing assets related to incineration and activities, including:
- Hermod: legacy product for incineration line control and optimization
- AI for ERF: a set of AI modules/APIs dedicated to Energy Recovery Facility optimization
- TTMP for ERF: GenAI agents and use cases applied to incineration operations and decision support
- Build the target vision for a Hubgrade Incineration Optimization offering
- Clarify the complementarity between Hermod, AI for ERF, and TTMP for ERF
- Identify and prioritize the highest-value use cases
- Validate Business Units' and business sponsors' appetite
- Lay the foundations for a combined offering covering hazardous waste, non-hazardous waste, and incineration
- Define a credible go-to-market and adoption strategy
- Prepare a progressive, value-driven rollout
- Document an initial business case and the conditions for scaling
Work streams:
Strategic Offering Framework
- Analyze positioning, strengths, limitations, and complementarities of Hermod, AI for ERF, and TTMP for ERF
- Define multiple scenarios for structuring a combined offering
- Recommend a clear and scalable product model
Market, Business Unit, and User Discovery
- Map actual needs of Business Units and users
- Conduct interviews with key stakeholders: site managers, process experts, CIOs, BU management, business sponsors
- Identify pain points, expectations, adoption criteria, and priority use cases
- Qualify target markets, segments, and priority geographic areas
Value Validation
- Assess BUs' interest in a combined Hermod + AI for ERF + TTMP for ERF offering
- Test clarity of the value proposition
- Identify potential sponsors, champions, and early adopters
- Formalize main adoption barriers and enablers
Product Foundations
- Define product vision for the future offering
- Formalize the value proposition
- Define scope of the initial offering
- Structure high-level functional specifications
- Define product, business, and adoption KPIs
Business Case and Deployment Model
- Build an initial business case for the offering
- Define assumptions for value, costs, economic model, and investment
- Recommend a progressive deployment strategy by BU, region, or site typology
Go-to-Market and Adoption
- Develop a go-to-market strategy for the combined offering
- Define key messages and value arguments
- Prepare Business Unit activation mechanisms
- Adopt a highly conquest-oriented mindset ("hunter mindset") to drive adoption and remove barriers
Governance and Documentation
- Facilitate collaboration with product, business, data, tech, and architecture teams
- Prepare decision-making materials for sponsors
- Ensure rigorous and actionable documentation at the end of the mission
Tools & Environment
- Product management frameworks and methodologies
- AI modules/APIs related to Energy Recovery Facility optimization
- GenAI agents and use cases for incineration operations
- Cross-functional collaboration with product, business, data, tech, and architecture teams
Working Conditions

Profile wanted
- 8 to 12 years of experience in Product Management
- Strong experience in offering definition, market validation, and product structuring
- Demonstrated experience in go-to-market, adoption, and cross-functional leadership
- Experience in contexts requiring stakeholder buy-in and alignment across multiple parties
- Autonomy – Self-driven and able to work independently
