Senior Product / Process Engineer

• Prime Function:

  To ensure a smooth and effective transition of customer products into mass production by securing robust

  technical documentation, optimal production processes, and continuous technical support across the

  product lifecycle. The role acts as the key link between engineering, production, and the customer to

  deliver high-quality electronic manufacturing services.

• Responsibility :

  1. Strictly follow the GPV Group Code of Conduct.

  2. Ensure that staff has been trained and strictly follow our safety rules at workplace.

  3. Ensure compliance with the company's management system, policies and rules.

  4. Ensure that all employees are properly trained in use of the ERP system.

  5. Act as Product Technical Owner in the factory, responsible for assigned product families across all

  production steps - direct contact customer as representative of operation.

  6. Main technical contact for both customers and the local factory regarding product-related matters.

  7. Provide technical input and costing data for new quotations and serial production pricing.

  8. Participate in early engagement with customers on matters of product and process design, machine

  selection, indirect materials selection, tooling and fixture design.

  9. Responsible in setting up new processes, tools/fixtures, for existing and new products.

  10. Collaborate with Production, Test, QC and Planning to achieve optimize parameter/condition.

  11. Act as first-line technical support for manufacturing and after-sales departments.

  12. Conduct producibility reviews, document findings, and communicate results to stakeholders and

  customers.

  13. Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) by defining MES routes, production flows, AX routes, and all

  relevant manufacturing data.

  14. Educate production trainers on new products, processes, and changes.

  15. Ensure qualification and validation of new products prior to volume production.

  16. Participate in First Article Inspections (FAI) with project teams and customer representatives.

  17. Develop updating procedures for returned products following ECO implementation.

  18. Create and maintain Work Instructions, FMEAs, PPAPs, and other production protocols.

  19. Document and improve production layouts, flows, and methods for efficiency and quality.

  20. Create Packaging design

  21. Initiate Panel design

  22. Support the evaluation and purchase of tools, fixtures, and equipment, with consideration for

  ergonomics and safety for only assembly.

  23. Coordinate and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in cooperation with customers and

  internal teams.

  24. Serve as a coordinator for local and customer ECOs and ensure proper tracking and implementation.

  25. Work together with industrial engineering and production to document and improve production

  layouts, flows, and methods for efficiency and quality.

  26. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in engineering and production

  processes for assigned customers.

  27. Propose design changes for better manufacturability or cost efficiency.

  28. Act as mentor of Product Engineer, Product Specialist

  Authority :

  1. Authorization for documentation: FAI report, PFMEA, PPAP, MES Flow / WI, Production flow,

  Work Instruction, AX Route.

  Qualification (Education/ Work experience/ Skill):

  1. Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.

  2. Minimum experience of 5 years in electronics manufacturing

  3. Strong technical background in electronics manufacturing.

  4. Working knowledge of ERP system (Axapta, ePDM, SAP ME, ERP, and Unicam FX systems).

  5. Familiarity with component technologies, assembly processes, and manufacturing time studies.

  6. Experience with FMEA, PPAP, LEAN, and industrial safety standards.

  7. Good command for English and computer skills (TOEIC scores ≥ 650)

  8. Outstanding leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  9. Excellent creativity, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  10. Demonstrated leadership in production training and change facilitation.

  11. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results on time.

  12. Customer-oriented mindset with proactive problem-solving skills.

  13. High attention to detail, quality, and process discipline.
