We make decisions that affect our transportation system, ensure the safety and well-being of our seniors, connect people to jobs, help families recover from natural disasters, preserve water quality for our children, and so much more. We work to make the region a great place to live, work, and thrive.

  • Helping to support, and at times leading, efforts related to H-GAC’s vehicle replacement programs, including the Clean Vehicles Program, through the management of program applications, sub agreements, project documentation, site visits, and data reports, and other tasks.
  • Working collaboratively with local governments, transportation agencies, state and federal partners, community organizations, businesses, universities, and other regional stakeholders to advance practical strategies that improve air quality and support a healthier, more sustainable region
  • Building professional relationships across public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
  • Supporting the efforts of local, state, and federal agencies and stakeholders to improve air quality and transportation in the H-GAC service area.
  • Researching funding opportunities, preparing and submitting grant applications, and developing then implementing the resulting projects or programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of medium- and heavy-duty vehicles, alternative fuels, zero-emission vehicle technologies, and related infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with the heavy-duty trucking and/or school bus transportation sectors
  • Project management experience bridging public and private sectors.

Salary Range: $68,000.00 - $82,000.00
