  • Manage and reconcile OSEC reporting (Orders, Sales, EBIT and Cash), including booking orders and backlog reconciliation.
  • Support customer invoicing preparation, debtor management, and cash flow tracking.
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready records and ensure compliance with financial controls, contract requirements, accounting standards, internal policies and procedures and Defence cost principles.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting as required.
  • Forecast and track ROS% performance, including the assessment and incorporation of adjustments.
  • Review pricing proposals and estimates, ensuring appropriate financial assumptions and methodologies are applied.
  • Apply an understanding of Defence Cost Principles and CASG Profit Principles.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders on finance matters and contribute to the development of solutions for moderately complex issues.

What you'll bring:

  • Significant experience in program/project finance, management accounting, or commercial finance environments.
  • CA or CPA qualified, or currently undertaking professional accounting studies.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and financial variances.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deliver accurate outcomes within agreed timeframes.
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing business needs while maintaining a flexible and proactive approach.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and support effective corrective actions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to develop efficient and repeatable reporting tools to support Project Managers and the Finance team.
