The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Earned Value Management, COBRA, and SAP , along with a solid understanding of program finance and government contracting. This is a senior-level individual contributor role requiring the ability to manage complex assignments independently while also serving as a resource to more junior team members.

  • Partner with Control Account Managers (CAMs) to prepare, analyze, and review cost and schedule variances
  • Support the preparation of Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) deliverables and other required program reporting
  • Monitor program financial performance and identify trends, risks, and areas requiring management attention
  • Prepare cost estimates and pricing data in support of proposals and other business initiatives
  • Support financial aspects of program changes, including baseline and change-control activities
  • Assist with internal and external audits for assigned programs
  • Provide financial analysis related to funding, contracts, operations, procurement, and program performance
  • Develop ad hoc financial analyses and reporting for program and senior leadership as needed
  • Recommend improvements to financial processes, reporting, and controls
  • Work independently with limited supervision while providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Science, or a related analytical discipline
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience with a bachelor's degree, or 4+ years with a relevant graduate degree; significant directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Demonstrated experience working with Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts, processes, and reporting
  • Hands-on experience with COBRA and SAP
  • Strong experience with program financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, EAC development, and variance analysis
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong overall Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience working with Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), cost estimating, change management, risk management, and financial performance measurement
  • Ability to analyze complex financial and program data and communicate findings effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively across Finance, Program Management, Contracts, Operations, Procurement, and other functional areas
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance
