What they need
e&e is seeking a Senior Program Manager for an onsite direct placement opportunity in Harrisburg, PA!
The Senior Program Manager is a highly visible, client-facing leadership role responsible for the overall delivery of technology platforms, services, and strategic initiatives within a complex, fast-moving environment. Serving as the primary bridge between client executives, business stakeholders, technical teams, and internal product and engineering teams, this individual will build trusted relationships while maintaining accountability for program delivery, governance, risk management, and measurable outcomes.
The ideal candidate is polished, articulate, confident, and relationship-driven, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. This role requires the ability to operate equally effectively in executive-level strategic discussions and detailed working sessions with technical, engineering, and AI teams. While hands-on engineering expertise is not required, the Senior Program Manager must possess strong technical fluency and be comfortable discussing integrations, APIs, data flows, system architecture, AI/agentic technologies, security, and software delivery processes.
This position is ideal for a senior delivery leader who can connect the dots across multiple teams, navigate competing priorities, handle difficult conversations professionally, and build trust during periods of growth and transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary relationship and delivery lead across executive, business, and technical stakeholders.
- Manage multiple concurrent workstreams, including milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, priorities, and escalations.
- Lead program governance meetings and provide clear reporting on status, risks, decisions, and business value.
- Act as a technical liaison between stakeholders and engineering, product, and AI teams.
- Translate complex technical and AI concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Coordinate integrations, APIs, data flows, configuration, releases, and other technical activities.
- Drive adoption, measurable outcomes, and continuous improvement across the program.
What We’re Looking For:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, articulate, and confident presence.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to establish trust with executives and technical teams.
- Proven experience leading complex, multi-workstream technology programs.
- Strong program management, governance, risk management, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Technical fluency with integrations, APIs, data flows, authentication/SSO, security, architecture, and software delivery.
- Working knowledge of AI, large language models, agentic technologies, and AI-assisted software delivery.
- Ability to navigate difficult conversations, competing priorities, and fast-moving transformation environments.
- K–12 education or education technology experience is a plus.
- PMP, Agile, Scrum, or similar certification is preferred.
